Vice-Principals

The Vice-Principal shares many of the same responsibilities as the Principal. When the Principal is absent, the Vice-Principal fills-in.

Specifically, the Vice-Principal:

— Establishes and maintains standards of conduct for students

— Monitors student performance to make certain that program standards are maintained

— Evaluates and supervises staff members as directed by the Principal

— Assists in teacher evaluations supported by classroom observations and conferences.

— Determines secondary education staffing needs (program requirements) in relation to building needs

— Works with the Guidance Counsellor on matters relating to student discipline and adjustments.
